Since it is Monday (and all great diets start on Monday) I am putting it out there that I am working extra hard this week to drop a few lbs.- working hard is the wrong choice of words...I am GOING TO WAR. GOING TO WAR against junk food, my soda addiction, and my mother-in-law. Okay---not my mother-in-law. She is amazingly supportive and a sweetheart...I am feuding with her camera. She pulls the stinking thing out at all occasions and I tend to hide from it. I don't hide because I don't want photos of special days or because I believe that my soul will be trapped inside...I hide because her camera HATES me.
Some people name their cars...I am naming m m-i-l's camera....Lets call her Nellie. How do I know that the camera is a girl? Easy...because no matter how great I am feeling about myself- it cuts me down! Does the camera know that I previously bought my m-i-l a camera and that it wasn't the one OR does it just have a difference in opinion about the number of chins that I have. I say 1, MY camera says 1, Nellie....NELLIE SAYS 2! I have no proof to share as many of my m-i-l's photos of me have been burned and/or discarded. Nellie loves my kids and I have great shots of them but not me.

So..I am not taking it anymore! This was the last weekend that I will spend hiding from Nellie. It is time for me to get back in the picture with my family! You hear that Nellie...you are going down.
